Universal Accounting School is a one stop shop for anyone looking to open your own accounting firm. I began my journey with UAS at the beginning of 2021 by taking the Professional Tax Preparer program. The material was easy to get through because I already had some experience with preparing taxes, BSBA Accounting program with CPA focus. UAS went into great detail about the new tax laws that were implemented from 2018 (TCJA) and all the current changes that occurred during the pandemic. What I wasn't expecting was a detailed turn-key system on how to run my tax business. There is an entire section that gives you marketing strategies that I can attest and say that they work! They really work! I applied everything that was suggested and my first official tax year was a big success. It was so Successful that I decided to take the Profit & Growth, Virtual Bookkeeper Roadmap, and Universal Business Builder program. PHENOMENAL! Everyone at UAS is invested in your success and celebrate your wins. They have weekly and monthly meeting to help you along your journey. I'm exceedingly satisfied with the level of thought that went into these program and how effective the strategies have been in my business. They say you're in business for yourself but not by yourself. They really mean it! Now you have to do the work in order for this to work. So if you're afraid to roll up your sleeves and get to work then opening an accounting firm isn't for you. Thank you UAS! Your program was more insightful than my BSBA ©.

Universal Accounting and Tax courses was the best thing I ever did. They have helped me so much in working for different businesses and preparing taxes. If you have a business already I recommend you still take these courses.

I wish I would have come across Universal about 20 years earlier! I had started a business with my husband and together and over 15 years had built half a million in annual sales, 18 employee’s and 7500 sq ft office/warehouse. After that I took some much needed time off and that is when I attended a presentation with Universal Accounting. Their program was just what I needed to develop my Accounting business by myself. Successfully graduating from Universal Accounting and with their coaching support I started promoting my business. With my previous knowledge of owning a service business for 15 years I started to work with several different companies that were service related. The hardest thing for me was understanding that all businesses need a chart of accounts and a Profit and Loss. With the help of Universals Coaching support I started to reach out to different types of business which then gave me the confidence to grow my business. I started to develop a team to support the business. Finding the staff that I needed to grow with was fundamental. Key employee's that showed potential were asked to take the Universal Accounting course to acquire the same credentials and knowledge to serve our clients. After growing the company with three employee's and over 50 clients I was able to sell my company and retire! I am very thankful for Universal's education and support!

I studied at Universal Accounting more than 10 years ago. I started my own bookkeeping & tax business from what I learned there, and went on to grow my small business accounting practice into a CPA firm. I obtained a CPA license a few years ago, and brought on more team members, but we have stayed true to the small business accounting aspects that Universal Accounting teaches. In doing so we have found a niche in the market that large CPA firms are not capturing, and as the industry continues to change in the years to come, we are geared to come out on top, largely due to what we learned all those years ago at UA.
